I am not writing to rate a church, but to respond to the phenomenon which you've created. Please reconsider the implications of the practice of rating a  congregation. It reduces the entire ministry of God's Church into a series of man-made factors. While important, the church is more than friendliness, the communication skills of its preacher, or the parking access. The Church is centered on the Gospel of Christ. Please do not continue to encourage people to choose a congregation to worship or bias their experience based on such principles. It turns church attendance into a consumerist-driven, self-centered shopping experience. Furthermore, the individual rating system is subjective and anecdotal.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to continue the conversation.

Your brother in Christ,
Nate

Hi Nate,

Thanks for your comments. Since this isn't a church rating per se, we've copied them to our blog, here:
