St Aidan's is a wonderful place. Very welcoming, very friendly. It's a strong community of faith made up of fun, smart people. We're relatively new, but we're hooked!
In what ways is your church most similar to other Episcopal or Anglican churches? In what ways is it different? What else might you like to say that could clarify what your church is like for the benefit of anyone who had never before visited your church, but could think of other churches that seemed loving, friendly, welcoming, lively, and intelligent? What do you believe about the person and work of Jesus Christ, and how do you express that belief in ministering to people in San Francisco?
I have attended St Aidan's Episcopal Church since 1972. I now live in Mississippi and still love and pledge to St. Aidan's.
The worship at St. Aidan's is creative. Inclusive language is used to create the services. St Aidan's is a progressive church. Many members have made Cursillo. Music is varied; organ and wonderful music group. Modern open worship space. Chairs that are moved around to create new worship space. Lots of banners hung around walls that are changed with the seasons.
The outreach at St. Aidan's is incredible; from a neighborhood afterschool study program to a regular feeding program to supporting numerous charities.
St. Aidan's is accepting no matter who you are or what you wear. Jesus is ALIVE at St. Adians's. I always thought it was no accident it is at a corner of Goldmine Drive and Diamond Hts Blvd. A true Goldmine! Margie
It might be helpful for our readers if you define what you mean by inclusive language and progressive church
