Lifequest
Very young church. About 25 folks when we were there. They meet at the local YMCA.
The women who greeted us a the door were super friendly.
The sermon was solid scripturally although not particularly challenging. We prefer more historical context and background, which is really the thing we find most lacking in all churches in the Winston Salem area.
The worship leader was great, although we have heard that he has since moved to another state.
Since they meet in the YMCA after the service it was primarily "all business." Folks were busy tearing down the sound etc. and didn't really give visitors much of a chance to ask questions, or get a sense of the community of believers.
Although we visited several times the main reason we have not selected LifeQuest as our home church is because we are looking for more in the way of the sermons... the historical and scriptural background to what is being taught. Also we believe it is critical, to call non-believers, and grow believers, to provide for a time to respond to the message.

I am the kind of guy who likes to get involved, I am passionate about my faith, and I was looking for a church when I happened upon LifeQuest, just as a statement on their sermon guide says, "Meeting people where they are and offering hope, encouragement and direction to become passionate flowers of Jesus", I was just coming out of a prior church hurt, and the Pastor' message wasn't flooded with condemnation or things I seemed to find in other churches, being a part of LifeQuest has changed my life, and since attending I actually re-committed my life to Christ where just months ago I had fallen so far away from my faith. I have had the ability to go beyond my thoughts of what God could do through me, and I have (very thankfully) been brought beyond what I thought was my limit, LifeQuest is my home church now and wherever I am in the future I know that the possibilities that I had at LifeQuest helped me to prepare for it.
