Horizon

I went to this church for several years while I lived in MD. What I loved about the church is that they really focus on relationships. Church members are encouraged to spend time together outside of chuch and church activities. The pastor of the church is very real about his life and his struggles and cares about the individuals in his church. They usually follow the normal church service teplate as in the book, but occasionally shake things up by doing church differently. One week they broke up into four separate rooms and had a room for preaching, a room for prayer and reflection, a room for worship and a room for fellowship/socialization. You could decide what most met your needs.
This church is a "come as you are" church and uses a lot of media as well as scripture in the message.
I really enjoyed my time at this church and many of my closest friends are friends I met here. I go back every chance I get!
