Hope Church
I've been to many churches in my day and Hope has really lifted my wife and me up spiritually. The band is unbelievable and extremely powerful. Pastor Mike Lee is just this average guy – no suite and no tie (not that there is anything wrong with dressing up!). He makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. His sermons take a position of somewhere between the “fire and brimstone” approach and the “everything is perfect” (e.g., Joel Osteen). Mike will speak to the audience for about 40 minutes at each service and leave you wanting more. (Can’t remember the last time a 40 minutes speech felt like it took only 10 minutes!) The man clearly understands the Bible cover to cover and knows just how to apply the text in the right manner. When you leave his service, you are left with so much joy and hope in your heart that you can’t wait for next weekend. I’m not sure where he and his staff receive all their energy and motivation but it never seems to run out. The man and his staff were truly sent here by God Himself because no regular man could ever do and accomplish what this man and his staff have accomplished. From what I understand, the church is about 15 years old and has more than 4,000 followers. How many other churches can claim that? You just have to stop by and experience this environment. There is NOTHING like it!

This church is impressive when you first visit, but you are pretty much on your own from that point on.
My wife and I attended for several months and even contemplated joining until we had some pretty disappointing experiences there.
We were going through some rough times because of my employment situation. I emailed the staff and asked for a prayer request and explained what we were going through. What happened? No email, no phone call, no response at all.
A similar thing happened to me after I joined a men's class. The instructor talked about how he was going to call and talk to everyone and see what was on our hearts. After losing out on the final round of a very promising job interview, I just didn't feel like attending class one evening. As things go sometimes, that quickly turned into my missing a couple of classes and guess what? No one from the class called ... not even the instructor.
There were a few other experiences that I won't get into, but my wife and I concluded that it is pretty bad when a church doesn't even care about you or what is going on in your life.
I wouldn't recommend this church at all ....
