Encourage People to Seek God and Offers to Help in That Process
Sunday worship is great to be a part of. Needs to keep working at helping people connect.

What I have seen and learned from Bridge is very much a part of my personal convictions in faith and in my relationship with Christ. Too many times church evangelism becomes too much of a social scene. At Bridge, I find that the evangelism is about an outpouring of the peoples into a place where the Lost need a hope and a spark of faith to come out of their environments and fall to a Grace that is Eternal , A Hope that is everpresent, and a desire to reach out. Avoid saving the saved. Encouraging and uplifting enough to shine the compassion Christ bestowed unto us. To continually grow in ways where we most failed. Constantly hungering and desiring more of the Word and the Love that God has as a parent to his children correcting, changing, and building up when we feel at our least. This is what I pray Bridge will continually do.

In a community that is primarly Catholic, it is great to have a bible based christian church to call home. Matt is a great preacher. His sermons are done in a way that everyone understands, no matter what age they are and/or were they are in their faith.
It does not surprise me that the regular attendants of these churches all rate them highly. Why would they continue to attend if they did not care for these churches?
So how can the rating itself mean anything?
The comments are interesting, even if somewhat self-serving. They are like mini-commercials. At least they are geared towards an interested audience and not forced on those who would rather not know what they have to say as those on television are.
Matt is the glue and motivation that keeps me coming and learning more about my savior Jesus Christ and his hope for me. We have enjoy the small groups that we have been a part of and think it is a great idea to continue getting to know more people in our church community. Because Matt is so strong, I am a little concerned about what would happen if something happened to him? Would the church continue? I'm not sure, I think we could lose a lot of people quickly. A strong leader is our greatest strength and also our greates potential threat to our future.
Hi Jortayco, I really like how you point out a strong leader is both a strength and a weakness.
Maybe what needs to happen is for the leader to teach others to have the strengths he has? Then the church will have lots of strong people in it.
I like the statement in the second one --- "Avoid saving the saved".
It sounds as though your church believes in accepting other Christian's knowledge of their Salvation.
I have to mention this: One reason I said the above --- A man, who has long been gone, belonged to the Church of Christ [not believing in instruments in church] told me that all of us in our church was going to Hell -- if for no other reason -- because we sang our hymns with an organ.
I have often wondered if he now sings his praises to God with a "harp" ?!! ;>)
