Bay Life Church

I started attending Bay Life Church in October of 2004. Prior to that church was my least favorite place to be...as a matter of fact, I pretty much hated churches. I had the opportunity to meet the senior pastor Mark in a casual setting prior to attending Bay Life and ended up liking him so much because of his authenticity, I asked my wife if we could attend that weekend. She attended a Baptist church in the Brandon area at the time. Mark is the same guy in person as he is in front of the Bay Life congregation. He shares his successes and his failures to help us all learn how to walk more like Christ. He'd rather have one true Christ follower than a congregation of thousands, and I love that about him.

 

Every Sunday I walk into Bay Life with a greeter at the door shaking my hand and smiling at me. The staff has the same passion to create Christ followers. Bay Life Church is HUGE on its people being part of Life Groups because it is such a big church, it's easy to get lost in the crowd, but once hooked up with a Life Group all that seems to fade away.

 

Bay Life has great programs for children. My kids have gone through the Lambkin's pre-school program and they just love the children's ministry! Bay Life's focus is on being like Christ and making Christ followers plain and simple.

 

Our family loves our church!!
