Senior Pastor Chuck Johnstone tolerates and encourages many voices within the congregation which is now rebuilding its Fellowship Hall on East Avenue, where the Open Heart Kitchen serves thousands of meals to the needy and hungry every year.

There is a book store on site open Sundays after worship service and coffee and socializing on the treed patio after services. The members tend not to proselytize and seldom have a bible in their hands because because they're too busy doing things building homes, serving meals, writing columns and blogs, and sending Heifer to Africa.
