Brookmeade has long been a church that engages in issues in the community. It is a place that encourages faith and entertains thought. Rev. Linda White does a great job engaging current issues reflected by biblical wisdom. I wish it were larger and could have a bigger Sunday School and a larger music program. It would grow if more people gave it a try. It has a clear liberal slant, but makes no such demand of its members. This church welcomes people regardless of race, class, ability, sexual orientation, origin, finances.
