In many respects, Covenant Church is everything that a 21st century individual would want. The music is professionally done and welcomes the presence of God into the services.  The quality of the music is like listening to a high-quality CD, yet it also possesses a spirit of life and devotion to Christ.  It is clearly a draw to the church. The congregation is a diverse one--and probably one of the most diverse in the Dallas area.  People are generally friendly and appear to be programmed to extend special kindness to those visiting.

Ads for Grace Outreach Center typically show the faces of young children.  They are young, happy, diverse in ethnic background, and seem to be genuinely enjoying whatever it is they are doing.  This is probably an apt description for the church:  children and youth-focused.

I have visited Chase Oaks on several occasions and, at one point, thought that I would be making it my church home.  This church, like so many others, appears to be in transition. The...
