Once again Christian promoting evil cultural norms. I guess I’m so cynical at this point it hardly surprised me.

oops sorry about that that’s not Casper! Why is this on here? Is this the brainchild of Henderson and the new church he’s promoting?

No, that’s not Casper, nor does Jim have anything to do with this church - we just post what interests us…

Benjamin, yes, why aren’t they sticking with the true gospel? :-)

    “Finto”

No brainchild of “henderson” just another example of what some cool churches are into.

Why does this make you want to throw up- at least he’s saying out loud what others are thinking and trying to promote in their churches while not saying it directly

Maybe Jesus appreciates this kind of honesty as weird as it sounds to us

great. so the women’s movement was all in vain? My aspirations, in the context of this church, should be limited to the UTTER thrill of being a hot wife? FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!!!
    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
(though i did meet a pretty hot husband in Christian community … p’haps this guy’s right…)

yucky. his hair. his shirt. his pendant. his “message.” his exploitation. his “values.” his foolishness (score a hot wife… oh yeah, peace in the middle east). all icky. he speaks only for his confused self. he would have been in N’Sync if they would have had him. a clown, through and through. yucky.

I can’t remember now why it made me want to vomit. I tried to take a 2nd look and I was unable to access the video. I am really curious Mr. Henderson why you think that Jesus “maybe” appreciates such honesty? Can your honesty and sincerty be off course? Inordinate?

    Don,

Can’t speak for Jim. But I kind of get why Jesus might appreciate the honesty here. There’s a big church here in Seattle that has this take on women, but they wouldn’t be so up front about it. Remember in the story of the unjust steward–Jesus commends the unjust steward and says that worldly people are wiser sometimes than kingdom of god people. He’s into a certain brand of honesty that perhaps many christians in America just can’t cope with–it would ruin their HHJJ mentality (that Happy Happy Joy Joy for the uninitiated)

    Mr Finto

Why would I not want to be honest when the bible tells us to not lie?

… not lieing is kind of different from being honesty, isn’t it?

Anyway–*does* the bible say that–not to lie? I mean there’s lies and then there’s lies, right? isn’t the bible more interested in the latter? =)
